Mindfulness training is about learning to use what is constantly before and within us as a way of awakening our innate capacity to be calm, aware, decisive, and to meet the challenges of our daily lives - whatever they may be. It provides tools for developing personal and therapeutic skills to produce increased satisfaction with life. It complements and supports current treatment regimes.

The potential for positive outcomes from the application of Mindfulness-based meditation and Mindfulness-based CBT in the treatment of those affected by various forms of mental dysfunction is becoming increasingly recognised by therapists, doctors, carers, and their clients.
